San Diego Miniature Crafters SAN DIEGO MINIATURE CRAFTERS JUNE 24, 2008
Our June Luncheon held at The Bay Club on Shelter Island was terrific and the food delicious. A BIG THANKS to Lori Lehman, Luncheon Chairman and Debi Cerone who provided lovely centerpieces for all the tables (rectangular decorated white picket fences filled with live flowering plants.) There was a gift exchange and many lovely miniatures were raffled off.
In addition to our regular members, we were delighted to see former member Eleanor Becker and Associate members Jackie Hoefert and Karl and Penny Newton (from Arizona).
Gloria Osborne installed the Officers, cleverly presenting each with a candy bar and slogan which represented their office.
A huge balloon bouquet was given to Gloria to take home to her Mother and Honorary Member, Dorothy Broadhurst in honor of her 100th Birthday.
Gloria Osborne was voted Member of the Year for all that she’s done over the years. Congratulations Gloria!
It was a wonderful day!!
