“Nostalgia In Miniature” Show and Sale

February 5th and6th, 2011 at the Al Bahr Shrine Center

DEALERS REQUIREMENTS

       1.   The fee for each 8ft. table and two chairs is $110.00.

       2.   Sales tables will be set up February 5th no earlier than 7:00 a.m., doors will       

             open to the public at 10:00 a.m.  All sales items must be ticketed with

             prices.

       3.   Complimentary coffee and Danish will be served on Saturday a.m. only.

       4.   Table locations are assigned by the Table Chairman, no changes are permitted. 

       5.   Only two dealer badges will be issued per table.  No more than two people may    

             be behind any one table at the same time.  (i.e. half table, one person only

             at anytime)  NO ONE UNDER AGE 16 IS ALLOWED BEHIND THE TABLE.

       6.   The dealers agree to sell during the hours specified on the contract, and to

             remain until the end of the sale.  NO EARLY TAKE DOWN will be permitted.      

             Take down time should be as rapid as possible after 4:00 p.m. on Sunday,

             February, 6th.  The room should be cleared within two hours.

       7.   Dealers are not permitted to place items on the floor under their tables for sale.

       8.   Dealers will be responsible for their property during set-up, sales hours and take

             down time.  The dealer leaves their table unattended at their own risk.  A 

             private security guard will be on duty while the room is closed to the public. 

             Please provide a cover for your merchandise during closing hours.

       9.   Although security will be provided, neither the San Diego Miniature Crafters, or    

             manager or owner of the building in which the Show is held shall be responsible

             for personal injury, loss of goods, merchandise or any action which may occur

             for the duration of the Show.

      10.  Electrical outlets will be in close proximity to each table.  PLEASE PROVIDE

             YOUR OWN HEAVY DUTY, 16 GAUGE WIRE EXTENSION CORDS THAT

             CONFORM TO FIRE CODE.

      11.  Please supply your own table cover.  It must hang down no more that 6 inches

            from the  top, unless it is certified fire-resistant material.  It must be

            accompanied by a certificate and shown, if asked, by the Fire Marshall or any  

            other person.

      12.  Dealers must have a California Sales Tax License.   Sales tax tables will be

             furnished.  The sales tax in San Diego at this time is 8.75%.                                    

      13.  No high-density lamps may be used on your table.

      14.  The signed contract and a check for either the full amount ($110.00) or a

            deposit of $60.00 must be received by the Sales Table Chairman no later than

            October 22, 2010.  After that date the table will be given to another dealer.  If

            you choose the  installment plan, the remaining $50.00 must be received by the

            Sales Table Chairman no later than January 5th, 2011.

     15.  CANCELLATION MUST BE IN WRITING.  A full refund will be given if

            cancellation in writing is received 30 days before the Show date (January 5,

            2011) If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the Show, a refund will be made

            only if  another dealer can be found to replace you.  You may not sublet your

            table.

     16.  The Dealer Contract does not become valid until your check has cleared the

            bank. There will be a $25.00 charge for any checks returned by the bank.

     17.  Retain “Dealer Requirement” pages.  Please read carefully and fill in the “Dealer

            Contract” pages and return them, with a check made out to “San Diego

            Miniature Crafters” for the correct amount for your reservation.  Your cancelled

            check is  your receipt.

     18.  There are no charges for RV’s parked overnight in the parking lot of the Al Bahr

            Shrine Center.  You may arrive at 6 p.m. on Friday.

Dealer expressly releases the sales sponsors and all affiliated persons from any and all liability for damage, injury or loss to any persons or goods from any cause whatsoever. And further agrees to indemnify the above-named parties against any and all claims of damage, injury, or loss arising out of, or in connection with the use of space or grounds in this sale or the display and/or sale of merchandise by him/her.  The Dealer Contract does not become valid until your check has been cleared by the bank for the amount of the table fee.  There will be a $25.00 charge for any check returned by the bank.

Contracts and deposits must be received no later than November 15, 2010 to insure table reservation.

Annual Show and Sale - EXHIBITS

Those of you who have been to our show before know that we offer free exhibits for our visitors to enjoy. Last year, we had more than sixty one inch scale, half inch scale and quarter inch scale exhibits exemplifying a vast array of miniature work. Most exhibits are displayed by our club members, we also have youth exhibitors and work of non-club members. 
 
San Diego Miniature Crafters invites you to participate in the 2011 exhibits. Please consider, we cater to a rated G crowd and pieces may not be for sale.

                San Diego Miniature Crafters present our 37th Annual Show and Sale on Saturday, February 5th and Sunday, February 6th 2011, at the Al-Bahr Shrine Center, 5440 Kearny Mesa Road, San Diego, CA 92111.

                We welcome our dealers to share the miniature treasures they have created. We welcome all scales in houses, room boxes, domes, and vignettes. Exhibits should only be “Not for Sale” pieces. Please insure that items are securely fastened so that nothing can be removed.

                All exhibits are to be checked in between 8:00 and 9:30 A.M. on Saturday, February 5th and are not to be removed before 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 6th. Exhibitors requiring electricity must provide their own heavy duty labeled extension cords (no household cords please). No exhibit can be accepted after 9:30 A.M. on Saturday.
